Data Analysts are tasked with overseeing the development of new databases, monitoring database performance and interpreting raw data and turning it into usable feedback and applications.

- Monitoring data quality and removing corrupt data
- Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements
How to Become a Data Analyst
It’s possible to enter the Data Analyst profession without a degree by starting in an entry-level IT position. You could then work your way up to a Data Analyst role by gaining experience and industry certifications. Qualifications such as CompTIA ITF+ (IT Fundamentals), A+ and Network+ can help you get that all important first role.
